AEROBIC EXERCISE 
 Also known as cardio exercise is a type of physical activity that increases your heart rate and breathing for an extended period.
 It offers many health benefits.

1. Improved Cardiovascular Health

 Aerobic exercise strengthens your heart  making it more efficient at pumping blood and oxygen to your muscles and organs. This can reduce the risk of heart disease stroke and high blood pressure.

2. Weight Management 

Regular aerobic workouts help burn calories making it an effective tool for weight loss and weight maintenance. 

3. Enhanced Lung Function
 Aerobic activities improve lung capacity and increase the efficiency of oxygen exchange leading to better respiratory health.

4. Increased Endurance 

 Engaging in aerobic exercise builds stamina and endurance  allowing you to perform everyday tasks with less fatigue.

5. Mood and Mental Health 
      
Aerobic exercise triggers the release of endorphins  which are natural mood lifters.

To reap these benefits it's recommended to engage in at least 150 minutes of moderate intensity aerobic activity or 75 minutes vigorous intense aerobic exercise.

Whether on a treadmill or outdoors  running is an effective aerobic exercise.

2. Cycling

Riding a bicycle
 either stationary or outdoors is excellent for aerobic fitness.

3. Jumping Jacks

This classic exercise involves jumping while spreading your arms and legs apart.

4. Burpees 

A full-body exercise that combines squats, push-ups and jumps.

5. High Knees


March or jog in place while bringing your knees as high as possible with each step.

6. Mountain Climbers

 Start in a plank position and alternate bringing your knees toward your chest.

7. Boxing
 Shadowboxing 
 using a punching bag can provide an intense aerobic workout.

8. Dancing 

Various dance styles, such as Zumba or hip-hop can be fun and effective aerobic workouts.

9. Swimming
 An excellent low-impact aerobic exercise that works the entire body.

10. Aerobic Step

 Stepping up and down on an elevated platform can boost your heart rate.
