1Purvakarma (Preparation )

 1 Snehana (Oleation) 

 The process begins with the intake of ghee (clarified butter) internally for a few days. This helps prepare the body for the subsequent oil treatments.

2. Abhyanga 
(Kerala oil message)This is a full-body oil massage performed by trained therapists using warm herbal oils that are selected based on your Dosha. The massage is gentle and rhythmic  focusing on energy channels and Marma points to balance the Doshas and relax the body.

  3 Shirodhara
 ( Flow of oil on head)

 In some cases Shirodhara a therapeutic process involving a continuous flow of warm herbal oil onto the forehead may be included to calm the mind and promote relaxation.

  4 Pizhichil
( Luke warm oil flow on body)
Another variant involves warm herbal oils being poured over the body while simultaneously massaging. This is called Pizhichil and is particularly effective for muscular and joint ailments.

5 Swedana( Herbal stem)

   After the oil massages  you are typically exposed to herbal steam therapy

6 Virechana (Elemination )

7 Nasya and Basti
( Nasal and Colonic   Cleansing)
Nasya
